Can I substitute non fat yogurt in place of the light variety and save some calories?

  • I have tried this recipe with non-fat and alas…they come out very solid. Not creamy at all. Recommend light yogurt.

What about putting in a bread pan then slicing to put on the Graham crackers? Would that help keep the Grahams fresher?

Could this be made without the graham crackers on top and just double the middle recipe for the top?

I’m so excited for these bars! My grandma taught me to make Spring Pie which is just cool whip and flavored yogurt mixed together in a graham cracker pie crust. Spring Pie bars?? With berries?? Sign me up!! My boys and I made these this morning for the first day of summer! We used plain yogurt and added honey drizzle but otherwise followed the recipe exactly. We’re looking forward to enjoying them this evening during Family Movie Night!!
