River Level Gathering Room
"We knew this was going to be a great place when we viewed the pictures on the website. However when we drove up and were greeted by a herd of deer, we knew that River Majesty was going to be an incredible place. It is!!!!! We have enjoyed sitting on the covered deck in the rain enjoying the view of the Cartecay River. Other days we sat by the river and were completely de-stressed from all our daily cares. We especially enjoyed this beautiful house, furnishings and all the extras. This cabin looks like something out of Southern Living magazine.
We love the two great rooms - one for the adults and one for the kids! There is so much room to spread out. The kids loved the pool table and ping pong table.
We ventured away from the cabin for a trip on the Blue Ridge train. We enjoyed some hiking but truly walking around Blackberry Mountain is just as beautiful and we don't have to drive to the hike. We went to Amicalola Falls and on our way back, we ate at the Orchard Restaurant for surprisingly great food. An evening by the huge floor-to-ceiling fireplace was so relaxing.
Thank you for such a wonderful mountain memory. We are so delighted. It was so peaceful and quiet...just what we were looking for. We were tucked away with wildlife at our door.
What a beautiful majestic mountain paradise! We will return again and again for another dose of quietude in the grandeur. River Majesty was so much more than we expected. You have definitely raised the bar.
