Initiating the quest and meeting Songbird

Cyberpunk Phantom Liberty: The Killing Moon - walkthrough (1)

  1. This quest is initiated only if during Firestarter quest you've chosen to help Songbird escape - the whole process is described on a dedicated page of the walkthrough.
  2. After fleeing the stadium, with Songbird leaving via a second car, you need to wait for her to contact you. You can fast-forward the time if needed.
  3. Before that, Reed will call first, and you can choose any dialogue options you like (no major decisions). After Songbirds texts, you need to travel to her car in Downtown in City Center. Enter the van through the back door.

Traveling to NCX

Cyberpunk Phantom Liberty: The Killing Moon - walkthrough (2)

  1. Start by talking to Songbird and listening to her plan of reaching the clinic on the Moon. First step towards going through with the plan, is reaching NCX spaceport. At some point, you'll assume control over the vehicle. Drive to NCX - you'll cross a long bridge.
  2. After parking in front of the terminal, you must give Songbird all the weapons you carry. You will retrieve them later in the quest, and there are replacement weapons to find in the spaceport area.

Passing through the security gate and retrieving the suitcase

Cyberpunk Phantom Liberty: The Killing Moon - walkthrough (3)

  1. Enter the space port. First step is getting through the security gate. During the conversation with the guard, jack in and talk the guard up until V is ready to get seen by the camera on the left (any topic will do). All offensive cyberware will be temporary disabled, with you regaining control of it in the later stage of the quest.
  2. You will learn about the need to access Tycho terminal and you'll make the first steps towards it with the optional objective of retrieving the suitcase. Set it as active, reach the suitcase pick-up station and input 930604 as the code.
  3. A yellow suitcase will appear on the conveyor belt (screenshot) and inside you'll find Corp-Bud outfit. With the outfit in your inventory, go to the restrooms, enter one of the cabins and equip the outfit.

Proceeding through Tycho terminal

Cyberpunk Phantom Liberty: The Killing Moon - walkthrough (4)

  1. This objective is received right after passing the security gate, but it is much easier to complete with the outfit from the suitcase equipped.
  2. Stay on the lower level of the spaceport and find the guarded pathway from the screenshot. With the outfit equipped, you'll be let in by the guard without any problems.
  3. Explore the back area and push the container (3 Body). Listen to the conversation with Songbird.

Reaching the roof by elevator

Cyberpunk Phantom Liberty: The Killing Moon - walkthrough (5)

  1. Along the way, you'll find e.g. some melee weapons - they may come in handy as you are without your weapons and cyberware.
  2. In one of the next halls, you may be attacked even with the outfit equipped. On the way to the elevator, you can sneak past or hack robots (the second option may alarm the machines). There are also security cameras in the area - sneak past or sabotage/disable them with hacking.
  3. Additionally, there are human guards - they won't attack V if he has the outfit equipped. If the alarm is on, sneak past them or defeat with surprise attacks.

Helping Songbird up and crossing the ventilation shaft

Cyberpunk Phantom Liberty: The Killing Moon - walkthrough (6)

  1. When you reach the roof via elevator, go to the balconies and locate the fire hose (above screenshot). You can unfurl it so Songbird can climb to you.
  2. After Songbird reaches the balcony, you'll receive your weapons and cyberware. Don't forget to reequip the weapons.
  3. Follow Songbird. A helicopter will appear, forcing you to enter the ventilation shafts. While going through the shafts, you'll need to disable the ventilator fans 2 times. In addition, you will overhear Reed's conversations with Myers several times. Fortunately, there is no risk of detecting V and Songbird.

Returning to Tycho Terminal

Cyberpunk Phantom Liberty: The Killing Moon - walkthrough (7)

  1. After exiting the ventilation shaft, reach the elevator and ride it down to the main hall of the space port.
  2. While proceeding through the hall, you can join the battles or avoid them by sneaking past. On the upper level, you can jack-in in the place from the screenshot and activate mechs - this will add to the confusion.
  3. Reach the lower gate and proceed through known corridors. Watch out for enemies that emerge from the elevator. Deal with them. You can use the elevator to ride to Departures floor.

Going through Tycho terminal and avoiding the helicopter

Cyberpunk Phantom Liberty: The Killing Moon - walkthrough (8)

  1. Reach the marked room with the corpse and, after examining it, call Songbird. You can optionally check her health status after jacking-in.
  2. From the moment the new gate is raised, you must avoid enemy helicopter fire - hide behind pillars and other large obstacles. Fortunately, the helicopter only fires its machine guns. You can wait for the helicopter to stop firing and reach new covers as it reloads. Don't try to attack the enemy helicopter or hack it, as it won't work.
  3. You'll reach a locked gate and after investigating it, use the inactive escalator. Get rid of remote enemies before you proceed further. Also, watch out for an enemy group that will appear suddenly in the departures hall.

Reaching the control tower with Songbird

Cyberpunk Phantom Liberty: The Killing Moon - walkthrough (9)

  1. In the larger hall with the control tower, relax, as the helicopter won't appear here. We recommend reaching the upper balconies to have a better firing position. You now need to defeat all NUSA agents.
  2. After the battle, find the entrance to the tower (screenshot) and listen to the conversation with Songbird.

Defending until train arrives

Cyberpunk Phantom Liberty: The Killing Moon - walkthrough (10)

  1. Leave the tower and defend against additional NUSA agents. We recommend retreating to the back area of the hall, but don't stray too far from the tower.
  2. Watch your minimap for locations of enemies, as some of them may sneak up to you or suddenly appear on upper balconies. Also, watch out for snipers - there is at least 1 sniper that appears at the beginning of the battle and we recommend killing him fast.

Cyberpunk Phantom Liberty: The Killing Moon - walkthrough (11)

  1. Defend until drones and enemy chopper appears.
  2. Do not continue engaging the targets, as you won't be able to defeat them. Instead, run back to the control tower and eliminate only enemies that prevent you from reaching your goal. Kneel by Songbird.

Boarding the train

Cyberpunk Phantom Liberty: The Killing Moon - walkthrough (12)

  1. V and Songbird will connect and the enemies closest to the control tower will be eliminated.
  2. After leaving the elevator, you can release Blackwall impulses - always place yourself in front of enemies that you want to use the impulse on. Fortunately, impulse charges are not limited in any way.
  3. Get on the train and put Songbird in the seat. The train will leave the station - you're now safe from NUSA agents.

Songbird - important choice

Cyberpunk Phantom Liberty: The Killing Moon - walkthrough (13)

During the ride towards the shuttle, a longer conversation with Songbird will ensue. You will learn that Songbird betrayed V - only one person can be cured at the clinic on the Moon.

In the final part of the ride, Songbird will lose consciousness, and you can decide how her plotline will end. This choice is not binding, as you can change your mind a little later. Here are the main variants:

  1. Taking Songbird to the shuttle - choose the first or the second dialogue option. V will carry Songbird to the shuttle entrance.
  2. Calling Reed - this an alternative variant of the choice involving turning Songbird over to him. V in return will ask for help in creating a cure for himself.

Cyberpunk Phantom Liberty: The Killing Moon - walkthrough (14)

  1. Reed will exit the shuttle. If you chosen to carry Songbird to the shuttle, a confrontation with Reed will be initiated.
  2. Don't ignore Reed's warnings to stop and leave Songbird. After several warnings, Reed will kill V and this means automatic failure.

Cyberpunk Phantom Liberty: The Killing Moon - walkthrough (15)

After you follow Reed's orders and lay down Songbird you have 2 main options:

  1. Draw your weapon - You have to shoot Reed and be quick about it so he doesn't shoot you instead. After getting rid of Reed, place Songbird onboard the shuttle, strap her in, optionally jack-in, go to the observation point and wait for the shuttle to take off with Songbird onboard.
  2. Make a deal with Reed - you can change your mind and let Reed take Songbird. This way, Reed doesn't have to be shot.

Cyberpunk Phantom Liberty: The Killing Moon - walkthrough (16)

  1. If you called Reed earlier and made a deal with him you can leave Songbird on the ground right away. Reed will take her and place her on the NUSA ship and you will part ways without risking any confrontation.

Return to Night City

Cyberpunk Phantom Liberty: The Killing Moon - walkthrough (17)

  1. After watching the credits, you'll be back in Night City and can proceed with any remaining quests or gigs.
  2. Talk to Johnny. In addition, if you yielded Songbird to Reed, a side quest Through Pain to Heaven will be initiated which involves saying goodbye to Reed.
