"We walked into the beautiful cabin and gorgeous surroundings. Before we even got out of our car we saw the river and then we we got out we were greeted to the sound of the soothing river.Your cabin is wonderful. Everything including the decor is so thought out and it made us feel so special to be surrounded by beautiful decor. Our stay was so relaxing. We are anxious to return and we can't wait to show our pictures with our friends and family so they too will want to experience this beautiful cabin."

"I pulled it off. I had my wife totally convinced that we were going camping. She was thrilled to say the least. The rush if the river is salve - tonic if you will to the harried soul. We loved and laughed and reconnected and loved some more. We healed and hugged and held hands and glorified the beauty all around us. All too quickly our time here passed. We depart so much the better for having made the journey. We are only from Knoxville but we journeyed a thousand miles from stress to serenity. "It's as if the world stops turning here. I was reading outside at the river's edge and thought about the rushing water as a symbol for the mind. Usually my mind races with questions and plans just as the water hurredly flows its way downstream. I realized that the water isn't rushing to get anywhere. It is simply going with the flow. At last. so was I. This place is beautiful and charming. Considering how hurried life is at times, this place is a sanctuary for the much weary soul. This reminds of the song by Beth Niesen-Chapman, Sand and Stone. "We had a GREAT week! It poured the first part of the week but that's okay, there was plenty to do. We found a wonderful antique farm table and chairs for our home on St. Simons Island. "We wish we had found you years ago as we have rented many cabins in the North Georgia Mountains around Ellijay and Blue Ridge. Your special touches and attention to detail made for a very comfortable and enjoyable stay. The location is the perfect getaway from the daily grind. We loved watching the deer, the kingfisher, sitting at the river's edge, picking apples at the orchards nearby, and feeling the cool mountain breezes. We hope to visit again."

"We loved the cabin especially sitting on the deck listening to the Cartecay River. We went tubing and had a blast. (Bought tubes at Ellijay Tire Company in downtown Ellijay). We got in at Lower Cartecay Road and floated all the way to the cabin. We took lots of walks and saw many deer and bunnies. We hope to come back to River Majesty, the perfect place." "This weekend was very relaxing. We went to the Apple Festival on Sunday. Saturday was football day. We took walks through Blackberry Mountain and we watched people kayaking down the river in front of River Majesty. We all loved being outside around the fire toasting marshmallows and telling stories. Thanks for the stay here. As a teacher, I needed it."

"Thank you so much for sharing your wonderful home. This was the spot we chose for our honeymoon and we couldn't have picked a more romantic and beautiful place. The peaceful sounds of the river, the amazing views from all over the house, long walks as the sun sets, and deer - LOTS of deer! It was so exciting for me to be able to see so many close up, but very frustrating for my husband to be close and not be able to do anything but look, seeing as he is an avid hunter.
